Karen Patterson, CCRA, CEO & Executive Director of Clinical Research
Ms. Patterson is the CEO & Executive Director of Clinical Research at KPE Research Solutions, a clinical research consulting firm located in the Phoenix area. KPE Research provides GCP quality assurance, monitoring, and project management services to pharmaceutical and medical device sponsor companies worldwide.

Ms. Patterson has 25 years of experience in the clinical research industry.  She started her clinical research career by developing patient databases for clinical trials at Quintiles, Inc. as a Clinical Research Assistant. Following her tenure at Quintiles, she served in clinical monitoring, operations management, project management and quality assurance roles as a Clinical Consultant from 2006-2017.

In 2015, Ms. Patterson founded KPE Research Solutions.  As Principal, she provides consulting services including clinical program management, compliance auditing, FDA/BIMO inspection preparation, and development of GCP quality risk management solutions.

Ms. Patterson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. She is accredited by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) as a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA).
